We would like to inform you that there may be filming and photography during the annual meeting. A photo gallery with all photos taken during the congress will be available to registered participants on the ESGAR platform. In addition, photographs taken during ESGAR 2024 may be used for the society's social media channels.

How to get to the venue

The best way to get to the Svenska Mässan from Landvetter Airport is to take the Airport Bus. This bus leaves every 20minutes between 04:30 and 20:30 and only takes 25 minutes to reach the congress centre (and Gothia Towers hotel).

Lead retrieval system

Your name badge is your business card. ESGAR and its sponsors are using a lead retrieval system during the congress. In practice that means that when you present your badge for scanning at an exhibition booth or for scanning when entering an industry sponsored lunch symposium, the following personal data can be retrieved: first name, last name, address details, email address.

Letter of invitation

The Central ESGAR Office is pleased to provide you with a formal invitation letter as soon as ESGAR has received your registration AND payment. It is understood that such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates to raise funds or to obtain a visa. This does not imply any commitment for ESGAR to provide financial funds or accommodation!

The place of performance of any duties and obligations for both ESGAR and the participant’s sides shall be Vienna, Austria. Any contractual relationship with ESGAR shall be subject to Austrian law.

If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU and you want to visit Sweden (and the other Schengen countries), you may need to apply for a visa. A visa is a permit to enter a country and stay there for less than 90 days. Whether you need a visa depends on what country you are from or if you have a residence permit in another Schengen country or if you are permanently living in an EU country.
