When using the ESGAR logos or banners, keep these things in mind:
- Always leave generous space around the logo / banner
- Maintain the original aspect ratio and do not distort the image
- Do not recolour the logo or images
- Use the correct size so it’s not ‘pixelated’ or ‘blurry’

The Annual Meeting, the most important event of the Society's calendar, is held in a different European country each year. The Postgraduate Course covers a specific topic each year but all annual meetings are devoted to the main theme of "Abdominal Imaging and Intervention".
The meetings consist of invited educational lectures, tutorials, scientific presentations and symposia structured in conjunction with our industrial partners.

This one-day FREE OF CHARGE global virtual event is dedicated to Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC), the commonest abdominal malignancy. The agenda encompasses a comprehensive exploration of HCC, including discussions on its global impact and burden, pathophysiology, multimodality imaging assessment for screening, staging, and treatment response evaluation, as well as systemic and interventional radiology image-guided therapies.

The ESGAR diploma offers a recognition of expertise at a European level for radiologists who have reached a subspecialised level of knowledge in abdominal radiology and who are keen to maintain this level through continuous education and involvement in the field, and by taking the examination. The examination objectively verifies that radiologists possess the required expert knowledge, skills and competences at the end of their specific gastrointestinal and abdominal radiology training. EDGAR is endorsed by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and equals a final Level III subspecialty examination.
