Description

The purpose of this workshop is to initially offer an in-depth review of the most advanced imaging techniques in the evaluation of hepato-biliary-pancreatic pathologies, followed by a series of topics devoted to the management of specific clinical situations: steatosis, fibrosis, cirrhosis, incidental liver lesions as well as lesions in the oncologic patient, biliary inflammatory pathology, pancreatic pathology, with a special focus on solid lesions, cystic lesions, and imaging of pancreatic carcinoma after neoadjuvant therapy. Topics will be covered with a practical focus, seeking to meet the needs of the clinician in the management of these pathologies. Each topic will be complemented by the presentation of corresponding clinical cases.

Learning objectives:

  • To learn the technical advances in the different imaging techniques
  • To understand the imaging appearance of the different hepatic and pancreatic lesions
  • To be involved in real-life case discussion
  • To understand the role of imagin in the management of patients with hepatic and pancreatic diseases
