Description

This immersive workshop, held from November 3 - 6, 2026, in the city of Bilbao, Spain, offers a unique opportunity for radiologists to refine their expertise in abdominal imaging. Guided by a distinguished ESGAR faculty of international experts, participants will explore a wide range of critical topics in abdominal imaging, from rectal cancer, perianal disease and small bowel imaging to liver, biliary tree and spleen pathology, pancreatic lesion characterisation and post-surgical abdominal complications identification. Through a combination of expert-led lectures and hands-on individual case reading sessions, this workshop is designed to enhance diagnostic accuracy, foster critical thinking, and promote collaborative learning.

This innovative format will utilise ESGAR’s case reading platform, offering a comprehensive database of cases and teaching materials aligned with Levels II and III (subspecialisation level) of the European Training Curriculum (ETC). During the workshop, participants will review and score cases, engage in discussions, and deepen their understanding. Additionally, participants will retain access to the platform after the on-site workshop, enabling continued self-study.

This workshop is aimed at board certified radiologists, particularly those in private practice seeking in-depth knowledge.
